Dr Melinda Metaxas
BPsych, PostGradDipPsych, MEd, PhD
Managing Director
Melinda is a psychologist who has experience within the areas of neuropsychological assessment and intervention, disability, learning disorders, special education and emotional intelligence.
Melinda has gained 15 years of experience in conducting psychological assessments within prison, school and community clinic settings. She administers cognitive tests for many primary and secondary schools in rural Victoria. She primarily assesses for intellectual disabilities, functioning capacity, and other specific learning disorders, such as dyslexia. Melinda has assessed disability program funding applications for Victorian schools in Catholic Education. Melinda is a qualified Cogmed Coach, which enables her to administer an internationally recognised evidence-based intervention to help people improve their working memory, attention and general functioning.
Melinda has provided counselling to victims and traumatised adults. She has counselled school students and incarcerated men in the past and has experience in working with personality, mood and other mental health disorders in the community. Melinda has assisted clients to return to work after an injury. Much of Melinda's experience has also involved facilitating group therapy, and supervising and managing other therapists.

Anna Dridan
Senior Clinician
Child Mental Health Clinician & Behaviour Therapist
Anna is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker who is experienced in working with children and adults, mental health, behaviour, disabilities, meditation and mindfulness.
Anna has gained 16 years of experience in working with children and adults with a range of disabilities, including those with physical/medical issues, low cognitive and developmental functioning, sensory issues, severe behaviour and mental health problems. She also works with those requiring early childhood intervention.
Anna is competent in providing strength and skill-based interventions for behavioural issues, coping, emotion regulation, sleep, social skills and daily functioning. She works with parents and carers to implement behavioural strategies and offers additional counselling support. She also facilitates group therapy programs and provides mental health and trauma counselling to children and adolescents.
Rhonda
Mental Health Clinician
Meditation Facilitator
Rhonda is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker who has completed a Bachelor of Human Services and Master of Social Work.
Rhonda has gained 20 years experience in professional practice, working positively with people of varied cultures, genders, ages and abilities. Her practice has included working with people with complex issues, such as mental health and alcohol and other drugs. Rhonda hopes to contribute to improving the emotional health and well-being of individuals, couples and families within rural areas. She describes her practice as culturally friendly, safe and inclusive.
In addition to her formal qualifications, Rhonda has also attained diplomas in Community Services Welfare Work, Youth Work, Alcohol and Other Drugs and Yoga Teaching. She has a certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and has facilitated the Certificate IV in Mental Health course through Bendigo Kangan TAFE for consecutive years.
Denise
Mental Health Clinician
Clinical Family Therapist
Denise is an Accredited Social Worker and Clinical Family Therapist who has completed a Bachelor of Human Services, Post Graduate Diploma in Family Therapy and Master of Social Work.
Denise has had more than 20 years’ experience working in non-government organisations and private practice settings. She has counselled individuals, couples, families and children in areas of mental health, couple and family relationships, parenting, separation, divorce, grief and loss, employment issues, life transition, family violence, disability, school refusal, bullying, sexuality, trauma and abuse. Denise has a special interest in working with families and relationships.
In addition to her formal qualifications, Denise has also attained a Diploma in Community Services Welfare, a Diploma in Community Services Financial Counselling, and specialist courses in Couples Therapy and Play Therapy.


Jen
Practice Manager
Jen is the friendly and caring voice on the other end of the phone. She is responsible for the day to day running of the clinic and is more than happy to assist you with your queries!
